Staff

Many of our professional caregivers have been with Country Home for years and understand what a meaningful quality of life is to our residents. We all know that physical needs of the elderly have to be met, but what truly makes good caregivers is understanding the challenges of growing old . Our caregivers have that natural ability to respond in a kind and loving way that is the basics of caregiving. Our staff at Country Home are good communicators and are always responsive to the residents and family members. Time is set aside daily for the staff to coordinate care. We feel it is important that all our caregivers discuss the routine of the day and express their goals or concerns regarding each resident.

Our core values at Country Home are

Commitment to resident care

Respect for co-workers

Integrity

Open Communication

About Linda Melbardis

Linda pioneered Country Home 20 years ago when Assisted Living Homes in Elbert & Douglas Counties were few and far between. She graduated from the University of Colorado with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Her background has been an asset in motivating her employees with a participative management style. Linda believes that it is important that all caregivers become involved in the process of setting goals, making suggestions, and solving problems that may arise in caring for the residents. A native of Michigan, she moved to Colorado in 1983. She has two grown children and three grandchildren. Linda enjoys riding competitive dressage with her Andalusian Mare Fina.

Working as a team creates an environment that is happy, productive and rewarding for everyone.
