Origins

The origin of Country Home came about from Ericka Melbardis, Linda’s loving mother-in-law, who fell victim to Alzheimer’s disease. Ericka came to live with the family sometime around 1993. Alzheimer’s and dementia are extremely hard on families, let alone the people that suffer from this memory affliction.

Linda began to consider caring for others with similar living challenges. Country Home needed to expand in order to provide the type of facility that was perfect for Linda’s vision. Linda created a dedicated full-service facility to accommodate eight residents. An elegant and comfortable facility was created where no expense was spared in providing a caring, comfortable, and desirable ambience for her residents contentment. Linda created a residence people could feel truly at home in. Come experience the hospitality for yourself and you will soon see that Country Home is a special place for your loved one. You will feel good knowing that your loved one is getting the best care that is possible, just as Ericka did many years ago.
